MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Las Piñas emerged as the sole winner of the lotto 6/42 draw on Thursday.

The bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 02-14-16-28-22-30, which carried a total prize of P25,051,343 before taxes.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said the instant millionaire purchased the winning ticket at an outlet in Barangay Zapote.

Sixty-two other bettors won P24,000 each for correctly guessing five of the six winning numbers.

Prizes which exceed P10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax under Republic Act 10963, or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
