2 nabbed for online sex abuse of siblings, nieces

MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation has arrested two women in Concepcion, Tarlac for exploiting their younger sisters and nieces for online sex abuse materials, the NBI announced yesterday.
At least 10 children, all related to the suspects, were rescued during the operation led by the NBI’s violence against women and children division last week.
According to the NBI, the sisters were involved in the production and sale of livestream webcam shows depicting the sexual abuse of children for paying customers overseas.
The materials reportedly featured their younger sisters and other underage relatives.
Charges for exploitation of children, trafficking in persons and child abuse were filed against the suspects before the Department of Justice.
