P3.4 million shabu seized in Lanao del Sur

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million was seized in a sting that also resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects in Taraka, Lanao del Sur on Friday.
The suspects, identified only as Tommy and Macar, were collared by a joint team of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Bangsamoro police in Barangay Sundig.
Reports said Tommy was a major drug supplier and has been in the watchlist of the police.
Aside from the illegal substance, the arresting team seized from the suspects a phone, identification cards and marked money, according to PDEA-Bangsamoro chief Gil Cesario Castro.
The suspects were detained at the jail facility of the PDEA-Bangsamoro.
In Pangasinan, a drug suspect was arrested in Rosales town yesterday for possession of shabu with an estimated street value of P724,000. — Emmanuel Tupas, Cesar Ramirez
