Police seize P2.3 million shabu in Angeles, Bataan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Some P2.3 million worth of shabu was confiscated from two drug personalities in Angeles City, Pampanga and in Orion, Bataan over the weekend.
In separate reports, the Angeles City police said a suspected drug trader, identified only by the alias Gilagid, was arrested during a drug sting in Barangay Ninoy Aquino in Angeles City. Police seized 255 grams of shabu worth P1.734 million from the man.
The Bataan provincial police reported the arrest of a 52-year-old female drug peddler during a sting in Barangay Villa Angeles in Orion, Bataan.
Col. Marites Salvadora, Bataan police provincial director, said operatives confiscated 101 grams of shabu valued at P685,000 from the woman.
“These arrests send a resounding message: there is no safe haven for drug traffickers in Central Luzon,” said Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Central Luzon police director.
