P3.57 million shabu seized in Muntinlupa
MANILA, Philippines — Two people in possession of P3.57 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu were arrested in Muntinlupa City on Friday night.
James Regonay, 50, and Dante Cleofe, 48, were apprehended by operatives of the police Drug Enforcement Group during a sting in Barangay Putatan at around 7:30 p.m., PDEG director Col. Dionisio Bartolome Jf. said.
The suspects, who were supposed to sell 25 grams of shabu to an undercover police officer, were caught with 525 grams of shabu, a cell phone and two identification cards.
The suspects are detained at the Muntinlupa police station on charges of drug trafficking.
Meanwhile, seven grams of shabu valued at P47,600 were seized from Daniel Rebudal, Gilbert Matria and Ryan Bagtas during a sting in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Quezon City at around 2 a.m. yesterday.
