Manila Cathedral to hold open house tour

Evelyn Macairan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Cathedral will offer guided tours to different parts of the cathedral after three years since the COVID pandemic.

The public will be given free access to different areas of the cathedral on June 12 to make people “appreciate its rich history and contributions to our culture,” Manila Cathedral Rector Monsignor Rolly de la Cruz said over the weekend.

“Restricted areas will be made accessible to the people so they will appreciate the effort that went to the reconstruction of the cathedral,” De la Cruz added.

He advised Catholic devotees to plan their visit and check updates on the Manila Cathedral’s Facebook page about the open house tour, pipe organ mini-concert and new merchandise items.
