Cavite, Iloilo bettors win P29.7 million lotto jackpot

Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Two bettors will share the P29.7-million jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto drawn on Monday night.

Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the winning tickets were bought from lotto outlets in Bacoor in Cavite and Iloilo City.

The bettors guessed the winning numbers 28-32-12-09-18-50.

Ten other bettors who guessed five of the winning numbers won P100,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law imposes a 20 percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
