Go, Padilla attend Baguio Super Health Center groundbreaking
BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Senators Bong Go and Robinhood Padilla attended the groundbreaking of a Superhealth Center in Barangay Bakakeng here yesterday.
A Super Health Center is an improved version of the rural health unit. It offers laboratory services, pharmacy, birthing facilities, dental services and outpatient among other minor medical services.
Go said the government would build more than 300 Super Health Centers across the country this year.
These are aside from more than 150 Malasakit Centers or one-stop shops for medical and financial assistance for poor and indigent patients nationwide. There are six Malasakit Centers in the Cordilleras.
After attending the groundbreaking of the Super Health Center, Go and Padilla visited the Malasakit Center at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
They also provided assistance to vendors at the Baguio City market, which was recently hit by a fire.
