2 bettors share P33.6 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — Two bettors won the jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto drawn on Tuesday.

A bettor in San Mateo, Rizal and another in Pasay City hit the winning numbers 12-29-35-34-13-08, which had a total jackpot of P33,643,692.60, Melquiades Robles, general manager and vice chairperson of the board of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, said yesterday.

Fifty other bettors who guessed five of the winning numbers won P50,000 each.

Lotto winnings above P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
