P3.4 million cocaine seized in Quezon

MANILA, Philippines — Two persons were arrested for alleged possession of cocaine valued at P3.4 million in Quezon province on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jasmin Dagohoy, who was apprehended in Barangay Ibabang Dupay in Lucena City, yielded 489 grams of cocaine worth P2.59 million, police said.

Quezon police director Col. Ledon Monte said 59.78 grams of cocaine worth P950,000 were confiscated from Jomer Nora in a sting in Purok Daus, Barangay Poblacion 61 in Real town.

The suspect also reportedly yielded 59.02 grams of shabu valued at P1.2 million.

In Nueva Ecija, 60.2 grams of shabu worth P409,360 were recovered from Greggains Castelo, 32, and Sarah Jane Mamatlalo, 30, who were arrested in Barangay San Juan Accfa in Cabanatuan City. – Michelle Zoleta, Ric Sapnu
