November 12 a holiday in Valenzuela

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared Nov. 12 a special non-working holiday in Valenzuela City.

In Proclamation 74 issued on Oct. 14, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin declared Nov. 12 a holiday in Valenzuela to allow residents to celebrate the city’s 399th founding anniversary.

“It is but fitting and proper that the people of Valenzuela be given opportunity to participate in the occasion, subject to health protocols imposed by the national government,” Bersamin said.
