Woman’s body washed ashore in Quezon beach

MANILA, Philippines — An unidentified naked body of a woman washed up on a beach in Barangay Sabang in Polillo, Quezon on Tuesday.

Lifeguards Christopher Juntereal and Cyrus Ramirez discovered the body at around 7 a.m.

Police said an investigation is underway to identify the victim and determine the cause of her death.

Local authorities are not ruling out the possibility that the woman was a victim of Super Typhoon Karding.
