PCG personnel shot dead in Cavite

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A member of the Philippine Coast Guard was allegedly shot dead by a relative of his wife in Indang, Cavite yesterday.

Randolph Val Siega was seated on the terrace of the house of his father-in-law in Barangay Banaba Cerca when he was shot by the suspect, identified as Jerry Creus, according to Col. Christopher Olzao, Cavite police director.

Police launched a manhunt for the suspect.

Probers have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
