Monsoon rains to continue in Luzon
MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to affect the western portion of the country and bring rains over Northern and Central Luzon today.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the habagat would bring scattered rains over Ilocos, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley as well as the provinces of Aurora, Zambales and Bataan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rains.
PAGASA warned the public of flash floods and landslides, especially in high-risk areas, during heavy rain.
