Man dies from electrocution in Batangas

MANILA, Philippines — A man died and five others were injured after they were electrocuted in Batangas City on Tuesday.

Nicolai Rivera, 32, an electrician, and his co-workers were installing streetlights in Barangay Sampaga when they accidentally touched a live wire.

Rivera died on the way to the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Barangay Gulod Labac.

Arjay Zulueta, Dineto Sodario, Claudilito Tolentino, Sonyboy Perpetua and Ricardo Mañalac were taken to the same hospital for treatment. - Emmanuel Tupas, Arnell Ozaeta
