14 PDEA agents cited for narco cop’s arrest

MANILA, Philippines — The Caloocan government commended yesterday 14 officers of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) who captured a policeman allegedly involved in drugs.

Mayor Along Malapitan gave medals and a plaque of recognition to the PDEA agents during flag-raising rites at city hall.

The PDEA team was composed of Metro Manila regional unit chief Christian Frivaldo, Laura Nebato, Marvin Mendoza, Albert Bohol, Nazarion Bongkinki, Christine Joy Macayan, Renzo Carlo Bascogin, Gion Arvie Aciente, Jaymar Ramos, Jemuel de Jesus, John Michael Erlano, Salm Jomarie Alva, Rechiel Caber and Nielchris Hernandez.

They arrested Cpl. Mark Jefferson Ramos Lopez of the Caloocan police, who allegedly yielded P3.4 million worth of shabu last week.
