Fair weather seen in next 3 days

Michael Punongbayan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The country is forecast to experience fair weather in the next three days as no low-pressure area or weather disturbance was monitored in and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

The southwest monsoon or habagat will still bring rain in most parts of the archipelago, especially in Luzon, but is expected to weaken by tomorrow, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

PAGASA said light to moderate and sometimes heavy rain is still expected throughout the country.

With the habagat weakening and the ridge of a high-pressure area affecting the country, improved weather is expected, with chances of isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.
