2 bettors share P74 million lotto pot

Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Tarlac City and another in Iloilo City will split the P73.77-million jackpot prize of the Super Lotto 6/49, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

The two correctly guessed the winning combination 37-07-14-21-20-42, which came out in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw in the PCSO lotto draws held Thursday night. They will share a jackpot of P73,777,794.40.

There were also 34 second prize winners who each won P50,000 for correctly guessing all but one of the six-digit winning combination.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20 percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.

The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
