Ramon Efren Lazaro - The Philippine Star

MALOLOS, Bulacan, Philippines — A teenager suspected of stealing equipment at the construction site of the Philippine National Railways in this province was arrested on Sunday.

The 18-year-old suspect was seen by a security officer running away with two cylinder mold samplers in Barangay Catmon, according to a report received by Bulacan police director Col. Charlie Cabradilla.

A pursuit operation led the security officer and his companions to a junkshop in Barangay Mojon, where the suspect reportedly tried to sell the stolen equipment.

The officers also found in the junkshop two more cylinder mold samplers that were allegedly stolen earlier by the suspect.

Authorities said the items were valued at P16,000.
