NCRPO: 23,383 cops fully vaccinated

MANILA, Philippines — At least 99 percent of Metro Manila’s more than 23,000 police officers have been fully vaccinated, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported yesterday.

NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad said 23,383 personnel are fully vaccinated. Only 16 officers are waiting for their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this month.

Natividad said 23,215 officers have received booster shots. Thirty-six personnel remain unvaccinated due to medical conditions.

“The strength of the NCRPO comes from our police so we are doing everything we can to shield them from the virus so that we can continue to protect the people,” he said.
