Fiestas, league sports resume in Pangasinan town

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — ponse to the clamor of residents.

“I was only ensuring the safety of all, but I also know how to listen especially that SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) officials are there, with your barangay officials to monitor,” Bataoil said. “I cannot deny the fact that many raised a howl, especially among the youth, who are eager to play basketball or volleyball.”

However, he stressed the need for residents to get vaccinated against COVID for their protection.

Bataoil also appealed to his constituents to continue to observe minimum health protocols to prevent the spread of the viral illness.

The town recorded one active case as of yesterday.
