MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) recorded only two percent COVID-19 positivity rate among passengers of the railway systems last week.

Of the 175 train commuters who voluntarily underwent antigen testing, the DOTr said only three passengers were infected.

The Light Rail Transit-2 subjected 75 passengers to free random antigen testing. Of the number, only one commuter tested positive for COVID-19.

Two of the 96 passengers of the Metro Rail Transit-3 tested positive for the virus, the DOTr said.

None of the four passengers of the Philippine National Railways who underwent antigen testing was infected with COVID-19.
