Woman shot dead in Tondo

MANILA, Philippines — A woman was shot dead by a still unidentified assailant in Tondo, Manila on Monday.

Abigail Ampil, 38, and her partner Franckie Seña were walking along Hermosa street in Barangay 183 when they were attacked, according to the Manila Police District.

Ampil died while undergoing treatment at the Chinese General Hospital while Seña was hit by a stray bullet.

Police are still investigating the motive for the killing.
