Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — A lotto player in Tanauan, Batangas won the jackpot in the 6/42 Regular Lotto draw on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

The player picked the six-digit winning combination 07-13-05-30-24-12, which had a total jackpot prize of P5.4 million.

Seventy-three other players won P24,000 each for correctly guessing five of the six-digit winning combination, according to PCSO general manager and board chair Royina Garma.

The winner became the sixth millionaire in what the PCSO described as a historic winning streak in the 6/42 Regular Lotto within a month.

On Nov. 25, a bettor in Manila won P16.03 million in the 6/42 Regular Lotto.

Four other players – from Calamba in Laguna, Cagayan de Oro City, Valenzuela City in Metro Manila and Ormoc in Leyte – won the jackpots in the Regular Lotto draws on Nov. 13 and 6, and Oct. 30 and 28, respectively.

The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
