Oriental Mindoro bettor wins P378.7 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Oriental Mindoro won the jackpot in the 6/58 Ultra Lotto drawn on Friday night.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor hit the winning numbers 20-17-12-29-20-46, which had a total prize of P378,750,791.20.

The PCSO said the winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Calapan City.

Seventy-one other bettors who guessed five of the winning numbers each won P120,000.

Lotto prizes of more than P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.

The PCSO said prizes not claimed within one year from draw date would be considered forfeited.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

The biggest jackpot in the lotto history in the country amounting to P1.8 billion was drawn on Oct. 14, 2018 and shared by two bettors.
