Ric Sapnu - The Philippine Star

ANGELES CITY, Philippines — Ninety-two healthcare workers received booster shots against COVID during a vaccination activity at the City College of Angeles in this city yesterday.

Doctors, nurses and medical technologists from the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center were among those who received booster shots, according to Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.

The giving of booster shots for the healthcare workers is being done by schedule, Lazatin said.

The city’s Gender and Development Office headed by Mina Cabiles was tasked to inform the vaccinees of their booster shot schedule.

Vaccinees are required to present their vaccination cards.

City health officer Verona Guevarra said the city has sufficient vaccine doses for booster shots.
