Caloocan opens COVID-19 vaccination to non-residents
MANILA, Philippines — The Caloocan government has allowed the vaccination of non-residents aged 18 and above.
Vaccine recipients need to bring valid identification cards before going to the city’s inoculation sites, the local government said.
The vaccination schedules and venues are posted on the official Facebook page of Mayor Oscar Malapitan.
“We welcome everybody who wants to get vaccinated against COVID-19,” Malapitan said.
The city government said 75 percent of Caloocan’s adult residents have received a first dose of COVID vaccines while 62 percent have been fully vaccinated.
Last Friday, the local government started the vaccination of minors aged 12 to 17 at the Caloocan City Medical Center.
