Van rolls off cliff; 3 dead

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Three persons died while three others were injured when a Mitsubishi Delica van plunged into a ravine in Kabayan, Benguet on Sunday.

Andrew and Charlie, both surnamed Dulagan, were declared dead on arrival at the Atok District Hospital. Their relative, Jerald, died while being treated at the same hospital, police said.

Three more Dulagans – Jerry, Honor and Amos – were taken to the same hospital for treatment of injuries.

Reports said the van developed engine trouble, causing the driver to lose control of the wheel as the vehicle was traveling in Barangay Pacso.
