SK kagawad, 3 others die in road mishap

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) council member and three other persons died when a pickup collided with a tricycle along the highway in Barangay Miranda in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on Thursday.

Initial investigation showed an Isuzu D-Max driven by Cristopher Antiqueño hit the tricycle driven by Simeon Noblezada Jr.

Noblezada,  Meldy Capillo, Dena Espinosa and SK kagawad Kent Tolido died at the scene.

Another tricycle was reported to have been damaged as a result of the accident.

Maj. Jake Barila, Hinigaran police chief, said Antiqueño is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and damage to property.
