Isko bares 3 more housing projects

MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Isko Moreno yesterday announced the city’s three new housing projects for informal settlers.

In his third state of the city address, Moreno said San Sebastian Residences, San Lazaro Residences and Pedro Gil Residences would rise in these areas with 300 units each.

Moreno said he hoped to “bring the dignity back to the city’s informal settlers.”

Manila’s other housing projects are the Tondominium 1, Tondominium 2 and Binondominium, which are more than 50 percent complete.

Moreno led the distribution of 229 housing units at the Base Community in Port Area on July 5.
