3 drug suspects killed in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY , Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of over P1 million was seized from three drug suspects who were killed in separate stings in Nueva Ecija over the weekend.

Richard Enriquez, Tommy Sagun and Edward de Belen reportedly drew their guns after sensing that they were dealing with undercover agents in Cabanatuan City and in the towns of Zaragoza and Gen. Tinio, respectively, on Saturday.

Col. Jaime Santos, Nueva Ecija police director, said probers recovered from De Belen 160 grams of shabu, 8.06 grams from Enriquez and .5 grams from Sagun.

Aside from shabu, police also recovered handguns and a tricycle from the scenes of the incidents.
