P3.4 million shabu seized in Cavite drug bust

MANILA, Philippines — Around 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million were confiscated from two drug suspects in Imus, Cavite on Friday.

Philippine National Police chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said Jeri Ramirez and Analyn Aguirre were apprehended after selling shabu to policemen who posed as buyers in the  parking lot of a fastfood restaurant along Daang Hari Road at around 4:30 p.m.

Eleazar said Ramirez and Aguirre are members of a drug ring behind the distribution of illegal drugs in Metro Manila and Calabarzon.

Police also confiscated a cell phone and the suspects’ sport utility vehicle.
