Metro Manila’s 10th most wanted drug suspect falls
MANILA, Philippines — The 10th most wanted drug suspect in Metro Manila was arrested in a sting in Marikina City on Friday.
Recy Paguinto 21, was apprehended in Barangay Tumana at around 2:30 p.m., Eastern Police District director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said.
The suspect, who is being held on charges of drug trafficking, yielded five grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at P34,000.
Meanwhile, around 25 grams of shabu with a street value of P170,000 were confiscated by police officers during a sting in Pasig City on the same day.
The drugs, a 9mm pistol and 20 bullets were seized from James Mandajoyan, 18, who was arrested in Barangay Rosario at around 11:30 p.m.
The suspect is facing charges of drug trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm.
