4 caught in Valenzuela drug den raid

MANILA, Philippines — Four persons were arrested in a drug den raided by police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Valenzuela on Saturday.

The operatives implemented a search warrant issued by the Valenzuela Regional Trial Court for a suspected drug den in Barangay Gen. T. de Leon.

Rosendo Capistrano, Catherine Cleopas, Reynalyn Gutierrez and Albertson Del Rosario were arrested with P102,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu.

In Manila, Ramil Gamboa, Reden Crisostomo, Sherwin Gloria and 18-year-old Lester Cezar were arrested with P863,000 worth of suspected shabu in a drug sting in Sta. Cruz before dawn yesterday.

Police confiscated 127 grams of suspected shabu worth P863,600.

They will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

In Muntinlupa, Kim delos Santos, 27, was arrested in a sting on Friday. Police confiscated around 100 grams of shabu with a street value of P680,000 from Delos Santos.

Meanwhile, police seized around 81 grams of shabu valued at around P551,548 from Lawan Limbao, 23, and Aida Palog, 48, in a sting in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig. – Ralph Edwin Villanueva
