Marijuana farm raided
SOUTH COTABATO, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents uprooted more than 11,000 marijuana plants and arrested the alleged plantation maintainer in Lake Sebu in this province on Saturday.
Elmo Lozada, 42, was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and members of the local police in Barangay Ned.
Authorities estimated the value of the uprooted marijuana plants at P3 million.
The raid was based on information supplied by villagers to authorities about the existence of a marijuana plantation in the area.
