Eleazar reshuffles 11 PNP officials
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar has initiated the first major revamp under his leadership, affecting seven PNP generals and four colonels.
In a reassignment order dated May 8, Special Action Force (SAF) chief Maj. Gen. Bernabe Balba has been transferred to the Visayas Directorate for Integrated Police Operations (DIPO). He would be replaced by Calabarzon police director Brig. Gen. Felipe Natividad.
Northern Police District director Brig. Gen. Nelson Bondoc and Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Eliseo Cruz have been appointed directors of the Regional Police Offices of Mimaropa and Calabarzon, respectively.
Former Western Mindanao DIPO chief Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. and Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg of the Directorate for Logistics have been transferred to the National Capital Region Police Office.
Former Mimaropa police director Brig. Gen. Pascual Muñoz Jr. has been transferred to the Directorate for Logistics.
Colonels Gregory Bogñalbal, Neri Ignacio, Cesar Pasiwen and Randy Peralta have been reassigned to the office of the PNP chief, Directorate for Comptrollership, SAF and Western Mindanao DIPO, respectively.
