2 men caught with marijuana

MANILA, Philippines — Two men were arrested for alleged possession of marijuana leaves during a drug sting in Las Piñas City at dawn yesterday.

Edward Pastera and Vicente Bautista IV allegedly yielded around 600 grams of dried marijuana leaves valued at P69,480.

The suspects were nabbed by anti-narcotics officers along Rosal street in Barangay Pulanglupa Dos.

Police said they also recovered drug paraphernalia and the marked money from the duo.

The suspects are being held by police on charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
