Duterte OKs promotion of 8 Napolcom officials

MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte has approved the promotion of eight officials of the National Police Commission (Napolcom).

Promoted to the rank of Director III are Donnal Lynn Caparas, staff service chief of the agency’s crime prevention and coordination service; Monday Samson, Ilocos regional director; Julieta Raneses, Central Luzon regional director; Jose Concepcion Jr., Central Visayas chief; Johnson Reyes, Eastern Visayas director; and Jerome Asuga, Northern Mindanao director.

Duterte also promoted to the rank of Director II Leonora Bartolome and Edman Pares, assistant regional directors in Cagayan Valley and Bicol.

Napolcom vice chairman Vitaliano Aguirre II officiated the oath-taking ceremony held on April 13.

The activity was held virtually due to the risk posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
