Fisherman found dead

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A fisherman was found dead in a boat that was floating in the waters off La Union yesterday morning.

Hilario Rabut Jr., 63, of Barangay Paringao, Bauang town, was found by his fellow fishermen at around 5 a.m.

The fishermen expressed belief that Rabut suffered a heart attack as he was fishing in the area.

Rabut was last seen by his relatives on Saturday.

His brother Remy said Rabut usually returns home from fishing at around 8 p.m.

The family sought the help of their neighbors after Rabut failed to return home.
