2 drug dealers shot dead

MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected drug dealers were killed by police during a sting in Parañaque City before dawn yesterday.

One of the fatalities was known only as alias Tongtong, probers said.

Anti-narcotics agents said they were able to buy shabu from the suspects along C-5 Road in Barangay San Dionisio before 1 a.m.

The suspects reportedly opened fire at policemen who retaliated.

Police said they recovered from the suspects two .45-caliber handguns, eight sachets of shabu, a cell phone and P1,000.
