SPD’s most wanted falls

MANILA, Philippines — The most wanted person of the Southern Police District (SPD) was apprehended in Makati over the weekend.

Rodolfo Calma Jr., 40, was nabbed at his house in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, according to a police report.

Calma has a pending arrest warrant for murder issued by Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 66 Judge Joselito Villaroso in 2014.

Police said they received information that Calma was spotted in the area.

SPD chief Brig. Gen. Eliseo Cruz lauded his men for arresting the wanted fugitive.
