2 dead in Ilocos motorbike mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Two persons died when their motorcycle crashed along a bypass road in Barangay Bengcag, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on Thursday night.

Police said Jim Prince Valdez, 19, was speeding when he overshot a curved portion of the road and rammed a steel barrier.

Valdez and his companion Ceekae Leano, 19, were declared dead on arrival in a hospital.
