Murder, carjacking suspect falls

MANILA, Philippines — The most wanted fugitive of the Police Regional Office 8’s highway patrol unit was arrested in Taguig City on Friday.

After six years in hiding, Rowegie Anlio, 32, was apprehended along Ferrer street in Barangay Central Bicutan. He is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Tacloban, Leyte Regional Trial Court Branch 44 Judge Eligio Petilla on charges of murder and carjacking, according to a spot report from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Anlio is under the custody of the NCRPO’s Special Operations Group – Regional Intelligence Division for proper disposition before he is turned over to the Tacloban court.
