Magnitude 4.8 quake jolts Mindoro

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook Occidental Mindoro on Thursday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
said the quake occurred at around 9:34 p.m., with its epicenter traced 20 kilometers northwest of Abra de Ilog town.
The quake was felt at Intensity 3 in Abra de Ilog and Intensity 2 in Looc and Sta. Cruz, also in Occidental Mindoro.
No damage or aftershocks were expected from the temblor, which had a depth of 107 kms.
