MANILA, Philippines — Earthquakes shook parts of Batangas and Bukidnon yesterday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Phivolcs said a magnitude 4.5 quake struck Calatagan, Batangas at 3:39 a.m. The epicenter of the quake was located 18 kilometers northwest of Calatagan.
The temblor was felt at Intensity 3 in Looc and Lubang in Occidental Mindoro and Lemery and Intensity 2 in Balayan and Calatagan, in Batangas.
A magnitude 3.6 quake hit 13 kms northeast of Kalilangan, Bukidnon at 4:16 p.m.
It was felt at Intensity 3 in Kalilangan, Pangantucan and Kadilingan and Intensity 2 in Don Carlos, Damulog, Maramag, Takalag, Valencia City, Sumilao, Manolo Fortrich, all in Bukidnon, and Cagayan de Oro City.
