Blackout to hit Agusan provinces, Butuan

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines — Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte and parts of this city will experience a 12-hour power outage tomorrow.

In an advisory, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said the power interruption from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., which would affect areas being serviced by Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur electric cooperatives, would pave the way for maintenance works.

The NGCP said it would exert effort to restore power earlier or as scheduled.
