Quezon City’s most wanted falls

MANILA, Philippines — The most wanted person in Quezon City was arrested on Monday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said yesterday.

Rolando Cunanan, 35, was arrested at his house in Barangay San Martin de Porres ar around 7:30 a.m., PNP chief Gen. Debold Sinas said in a statement.

Sinas said Cunanan was apprehended based on a warrant of arrest for rape issued by Judge Kieto Villacorte III of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 229.

No bail was recommended for his release. Sinas did not give details on Cunanan’s case.

The suspect was brought to the Cubao police station for booking.
