Navotas street on lockdown

MANILA, Philippines — Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco has placed on lockdown a street in Barangay Northbay Boulevard South, Dagat-Dagatan after four residents contracted COVID-19.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Tiangco said the lockdown along Block 31, Lot 36 in the barangay would stay until Dec. 19.

The city government is tracing 16 people who were exposed to the positive patients, Tiangco said.

He said the residents are required to stay at home and undergo swab tests.

City hall will provide food packs to the residents affected by the lockdown, Tiancgo said.
