Slapshock frontman found dead

MANILA, Philippines — Slapshock lead vocalist Jamir Garcia was found dead in Quezon City yesterday.

Garcia, 42, was found lifeless by his aunt at his home in Barangay Sangandaan at around 9:20 a.m., according to a police report.

He was brought to the Metro North Medical Center and Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said Garcia bore ligature marks around his neck.

Garcia’s sister executed a written waiver saying they are not interested in a police investigation.
