P20.4 million shabu seized in Bacolod, Lanao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines — At least P20.4 million worth of shabu was recovered in anti-narcotics operations in Bacolod and Lanao del Sur in the past two days.

Police said two kilos of shabu with an estimated street value of P13.6 million were seized from Regine Arroz, Jun Mark Ibe and Shiel Mhary Balarao in Barangay Sincang-Airport in Bacolod on Monday.

In Lanao del Sur, a kilo of shabu valued at P6.8 million was recovered from Busran Ampatua Saripada, 64, and his wife Monera, 46, in Wao town yesterday, Brig. Gen. Samuel Rodriguez, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police director, said.

Meanwhile, in Baguio City, Joshua Stephen Alsisto, 27, and Denise Gayle Valencia, 26, allegedly yielded 65 grams of shabu worth P442,000.
